In the past thirteen years Steinberg has been curated into over one hundred and forty-five exhibitions throughout the United States.  Among these were thirty-six one-person shows and thirty-five group shows. He has received numerous awards and has been favorably reviewed in a number of publications including the New York Times and Newsday.
